Compulsory Integration was created in 1964 with the Civil Rights Act. There was no Constitutional basis for it. One race (i.e. one people) forcibly integrated into another racial group was unprecedented in human history. The black race, most white people firmly believed,
was supposed to be separate and self-reliant - so they would NOT become the dependents of the white population. However, since the black race became so demanding on receiving across-the-board integration rights with the white race (from 1955 to 1964), and since white people, that is, the overwhelming majority of them, truly wanted to help blacks improve their economic situation,
white males in Congress gave the blacks their integration "dream" (Civil Rights Act 1964; Voting Rights Act 1965; and solidified with the Fair Housing Act of 1968 --integration into white male's residential communities).
